Ky-Ann Taylor is now General Counsel & Corporate Secretary of NCBJ

Kingston, Jamaica – August 2, 2024: National Commercial Bank Jamaica Limited (NCBJ) proudly announces the promotion of  Ky-Ann Taylor to the position of General Counsel and Head of NCBJ’s Group Legal and Corporate Services Division effective August 1, 2024.

Ky-Ann, who has been a vital part of NCBJ since 2017, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her new role. In her previous role of Associate General Counsel, she demonstrated exceptional leadership in managing legal risks, supporting significant transactional matters, and leading a team of attorneys.

In her new role, Ky-Ann will report jointly to Bruce Bowen, CEO, National Commercial Bank Jamaica Limited and Dave Garcia, whose role as NCB Financial Group (NCBFG) Group General Counsel & Corporate Secretary now includes greater involvement with the Guardian Group. She will oversee the Bank’s Legal and Corporate Services Division, ensuring the effective management of legal risks across NCBJ and its subsidiaries. Her promotion reflects her dedication, professionalism, and outstanding contributions to the bank.

Ky-Ann holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of the West Indies, as well as a Legal Education Certificate of Merit from the Norman Manley Law School. She is also a certified mediator and has completed several professional development programs.
