NCB Foundation continues it's CXC/CSEC POA & POB FEE sponsorship programme

Students islandwide sitting their CXC/CSEC Principles of Accounts (POA) and Principles of Business (POB) subjects in June 2011 will have their examinations fees paid for in full by the NCB Foundation. This is a continuation of the NCB Foundation’s CXC/ CSEC POA and POB Fee Sponsorship programme established in 2003 to assist students at the secondary level in meeting the minimum qualification requirement for entry to a tertiary institution.

Former NCB staff receive grant towards business ventures

On October 13th, National Commercial Bank Employees affected by a recent redundancy exercise received grants of up to $250,000.00 towards the establishment of a new business venture under the organization’s Post Redundancy Entrepreneurship Programme (PREP). Recipients of the grant now have the opportunity to pursue the dream of self employment and secure their financial independence.

NCB challenges cyclists for charity

On Saturday, October 16, starting at 4 a.m.  more than 150 of the island’s most adventurous cyclists will undertake the journey to Negril using the North Coast route. “It’s rare for us to find an event that combines performance with philanthropy.  The Kingston to Negril ride will raise money for two important charities which aligns with NCB’s mission of building a better Jamaica.” said Sheree Martin, Senior Assistant General Manager, in NCB’s Marketing Communication and Service Delivery Division.
